First, good for you for approaching. You took your best shot, and I commend you. Sorry you were rebuffed.
It's not easy putting yourself out there and risking rejection. For this reason, women should be more empathetic and less hostile. They should also try being more appreciative.
To women who might be reading this, if a guy approaches and you're not interested, the least you can do is be courteous and gracious about it. It's a compliment to be approached, not a human rights violation!
To the men, if a woman doesn't respond in kind, take the hint and move on.
A little heads up ladies: Take the compliment now, because in a few years when you're older and invisible, you'll wish someone would approach you.
