Great article, John. Call me old-fashioned, but I really appreciate the lost art of flirting, and hope men don't ever stop approaching women. If done in a respectful, non-threatening way, it's one of life's great pleasures. A smile, a compliment, an attempt at small talk, any human contact is quite honestly delightful. There's nothing more depressing than people looking right through you, averting your gaze, ignoring you, etc. We can't live in fear of each other, nor can we live on the apps alone. Now THAT'S depressing.
