I have no doubt this happens, and it makes me sad. Rejection is hard enough without people turning it into mean-spirited internet fodder.

As I've said to women, you can't hate men if you want to date them. You can't make fun of them either. If you say you want love or say you're sick of dating apps and want to meet someone IRL, but chastise men who dare to approach in good faith, you'll stay single.

Everyone needs to meet halfway. Don't be afraid of rejection and don't alienate each other. At that point, you just might find love.
