I related to this article, and your creative path. I got married for the first time at 51, and started a blog called "The Late Blooming Bride." It began with funny anecdotes about being an old bride, but turned into deeper thoughts on finding love (and yourself) at midlife. Like you, I wanted to offer hope that life can get better with age. P.S. I just lost both parents in 2020, and I've been processing my grief through my creative work. I'm writing much more these days about vulnerability and the power of surrender--things also needed for dating, oddly enough. Anyway, enough of my story, thanks for yours, Debbie. I look forward to reading more of you.
