I was single a lot longer than you--till I was 51--and I can wholeheartedly say that marriage is fucking great. I'm not codependent, clingy, needy, a control freak or less than because my husband IS my world, and I'm happier with him in it. I made the most out of singlehood for over 50 years, but now I'm married, and my puzzle is complete. Sorry not sorry.
