If you're talking about opening doors, paying for dinners, and other old-school chivalrous acts, I'm not sure women have been trying to free themselves of that. Most women would say it's quite lovely and romantic, not an assault on their freedoms. But what do I know? I'm an ancient relic in the dating world LOL!
