I’m someone who waited too long to have kids, but won’t beat myself over it because I just wasn't ready.

Through my 20s and 30s, I wasn’t ready to settle down, get married, and have a family, but at 42 when my biological clock went off, I decided to get pregnant on my own with donor sperm. I moved heaven and Earth, spent thousands of dollars, and put my body through hell. It didn’t work, but I don't regret a minute of it.

The bottom line is, you do things when you’re ready, and not one minute before. There is a divine timing to life, and I've learned to honor that.
