John, love is a risk! Doesn't matter where you find it--online or IRL. Just because you meet online doesn't mean you won't be rejected. In fact, you're more likely to be played, lied to, ghosted, ignored, and mistreated. Disappointment and failure are baked into dating, that's the deal. As I said, there's always going to be risk, but love is worth it.
