Maybe it's generational, but I'm 59 and in my dating days, if a man was interested, he showed it. He stepped up, and made the effort. Every article I read about young single men these days portrays them as spoiled and entitled, which I'm beginning to think they are. After all, these are the same guys that probably got Participation Trophies as kids for putting in zero effort and doing nothing. My advice: both men and women need to man-up and be honest with each other. You may endure some pain, but at least you'll know where you stand.
