Not sure parents can effectively restrict their children's internet access, but they can teach them about facing adversity with grit and resilience. Make them understand that you don't always get what you want, and life won't always go their way. There are ups and downs, winners and losers, rejection and disappointment. You might get the girl, you might not. And you're certainly not entitled to anything without hard work and effort, so man up! Life isn't Participation Awards.
