Thanks for your comment, Pentremites. To respect and grace I'd add "patience." With limitless choices come limited investment. Before dating apps, we knew we only had the person in front of us, not a gazillion more on our phones. So we took our time and gave it a shot. In this dating culture, people don't have patience to invest time and energy into getting to know someone or building relationships. Instant gratification is really the death of courtship.
