The manipulation/scam here is turning heartbroken guys into victims/blamers/haters instead of empowered men capable of weathering disappointment and rejection. And by the way, just because someone rejects you doesn't make them a bad person, it just means they're bad for you. Everybody needs to put on their big girl/boy panties and deal with it.
