The nature of dating apps causes a lot of dating strife. They foster bad manners, behavior, and laziness. On top of that, because there's an endless supply of choices/options, no one wants to invest time or energy. Before apps (when I was single and dating) people seemed less jaded/hardened/cynical. Yes, there was disappointment and rejection, but now it's in your face, many times a day as you scroll and swipe. If you took away the endless supply, my guess is people would become more appreciative of each other, more inclined to hang out a little longer, and behave a little better.
