What do you want me to tell you? Stay home? Stay behind your screen? Stay single? If you want to meet women, at some point you’re going to have to face them, and it’s going to require some kind of effort.

At some point in life, we get shot down. Whether it’s applying for a job, trying out for the team, getting rejected for a position or project, or hitting on a chick. It’s a rite of passage and we’ve all done it.

As for the "humiliation and shame" part, that's on you. Maybe stop taking rejection so personally.

The most important piece of advice I can give you is to keep your heart soft. Let go of the outrage, stay open, keep a smile on your face, and who knows? Maybe the chicks will approach you :-)
